Amazon promotes its Early Black Friday Deals in a hilarious new commercial, featuring a lonely Yeti.
The spot opens with a lonely, frosted yeti who realizes he can save big with Amazon Early Black Friday Deals and buys a hair dryer. After receiving the product and using it, he gets a silky and glamorous look that helps him stand out in the crowd at the holiday party.
“Shop legendary deals,” the voiceover says at the end of the commercial, which is set to the tune of Pino D’Angiò’s Okay Okay. The 1981 song, included on the musician’s “…Balla!” album, is available for streaming on Amazon.
Amazon has been touting its various sales events in numerous ads over the past months. In October, the e-commerce giant promoted its Early Holiday Deals in a short fairytale commercial, inspired by the Red Riding Hood. The spot shows Red Riding Hood throwing a squeaky toy at the wolf when he appears at her grandmother’s door, which makes him turn into a playful puppy.
On October 11 and 12, the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale took place and Amazon Prime members had the chance to get special savings on thousands of items across all product categories.
