Uber Black The Will Commercial Song

Uber and agency Johannes Leonardo have teamed up for a new ad campaign, to promote UberXL, Uber Comfort, Uber Green, and Uber Black – a series of ride options offered to riders looking for enhanced on-trip experience.

One of the commercials features Carl, a young man who, along with several other family members, listens to a lawyer reading the will of his dead wealthy uncle. Initially, they all believe he is left with the old man’s plants, but it turns out he was referring to textile, auto and steel, which makes him change his UberX order into an Uber Black to leave the mansion in style.

“Uber Black. Fancy cars for when you’re ready to flex” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial, which sees Carl showing off some dance moves before heading out, to his luxury ride.

The song playing in the background is a remix of the 1997 single “It’s All About the Benjamins” by American rapper and producer Puff Daddy, from his debut studio album “No Way Out”. The song, which features an uncredited vocal arrangement by Missy Elliott and a signature guitar hook played by Marc Solomon, is available for streaming on Amazon.

Uber Black matches riders with top-rated drivers driving luxury vehicles for a higher price. Only specific vehicle makes and models qualify for Uber Black and/or Uber Black SUV trips. The vehicle must have, for instance, a black exterior and a black leather or vegan leather interior and its model year must be no older than 6 years ago. Drivers must be professional drivers with commercial auto insurance (personal auto insurance does not qualify) and have all permits required by their city to operate a commercial livery vehicle in their area. In addition, they also must maintain a 4.85 rating or above.
