NatWest has launched a new ad campaign titled “Tomorrow Begins Today”, which aims to inspire people to take small steps every day, starting today, in order to get where they want to be.
The colorful advert, created by The&Partnership and directed by Freddie Powell, features a diverse cast of individuals as they take action to create a better tomorrow for them, with help from NatWest. Thus, a construction worker is shown making a life-changing decision: skip binge-watching shows and start a business instead. He starts a business account with NatWest, gears up, and gets to work. An old lady goes to University, a couple viewing an apartment decides to apply for a first mortgage and move in, ready to turn that place into their dream home, and a youngster manages to buy the trainers he’s been dreaming of when a notification in the NatWest app lets him know that his Savings Goal for those trainers has been hit.
“Tomorrow begins today, with NatWest”, Lady Leshurr, who is the new voiceover, says at the end of the advert, which debuted earlier this year, on 22nd July.
Serving as the soundtrack is Gwen Stefani’s iconic single “What you waiting for?“. Included on her debut solo studio album, “Love. Angel. Music. Baby.”, the song is available for purchase on Amazon for $1.29.
The campaign also includes out-of-home formats and a partnership with top-tier TikTok creators to help diversify the audience NatWest can reach.
