Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming fantasy film The School for Good and Evil.
Based on the epic international best-selling series by Soman Chainani, The School for Good and Evil is directed by Paul Feig and follows best friends Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) and Agatha (Sofia Wylie) who, according to the official synopsis, “find their bond put to the test when they’re whisked away to a magical school for future fairy-tale heroes and villains”.
The cast ensemble also includes Charlize Theron as the School for Evil’s Lady Lesso, Michelle Yeoh and Kerry Washington as the School for Good Professors Anemone and Dovey, respectively, Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Flatters, Kit Young, Peter Serafinowicz, Rob Delaney, Mark Heap, Patti LuPone, and Rachel Bloom.
The trailer gives viewers a glimpse at the movie action and shows the moment the two youngsters are transported to the magical school, “where the true story behind every great fairy tale begins” and where they find themselves thrown into opposing sides.
The song used in the trailer is “Another World” by Ruelle & UNSECRET.
The School for Good and Evil is only on Netflix, on October 19.
