Jessica Chastain is “The Good Nurse” in the upcoming Netflix thriller The Good Nurse, directed by Tobias Lindholm and based on true events.
The Academy-Award winner actress plays a nurse who, suspicious that her colleague Charlie Cullen (Eddie Redmayne) is responsible for a series of mysterious patient deaths, risks her own life to uncover the truth.
The cast also includes Nnamdi Asomugha, Noah Emmerich, Kim Dickens, Malik Yoba, and Alix West Lefler.
The trailer gives viewers a glimpse at the events, how a police investigation following a patient’s sudden death determines nurse Loughren to start her own investigation on Charlie Cullen, one of her colleagues who – she learns – has worked in nine different hospitals and has killed hundreds of people without even touching them.
The Good Nurse will be released on the streaming service next month, October 26.
