Netflix has released the trailer for the third installment of the Polish film series “The Next 365 Days”, which is an adaptation of Blanka Lipińska’s novel “365 Days”.
After being snatched by mob leader Massimo in the first film, 365 Days, Laura is locked up and given exactly one year to fall in love with her captor. She’s reluctant at first, but as they spend time together, the pair grow even closer and eventually get married. Of course, there’s trouble in paradise in the second film when Laura suspects her husband of cheating with his ex-girlfriend Anna (Natasza Urbanska) and begins an affair with Nacho (Simone Sussina), the gardener, who’s actually the heir to the rival mob.
Michele Morrone and Anna-Maria Sieklucka are reprising their roles as the lead characters, Massimo and Laura. Magdalena Lamparksa will reprise her role as Olga, Laura’s companion, and other cast members from the first two 365 Days movies are expected to return in 365 Days 3.
The trailer gives viewers a glimpse at what happens in the upcoming movie, showing that Laura doesn’t know who to choose between Massimo and Nacho, while in the background a dramatic song is playing. “Laura and Massimo’s relationship hangs in the balance as they try to overcome trust issues while a tenacious Nacho works to push them apart.” the description for the trailer reads.
The Next 365 Days drops August 19.
