Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming thriller I Came By.

The movie, directed by Bafta-winning director Babak Anvari, who co-wrote the script with Namsi Khan (His Dark Materials and Humans), revolves around a pair of rebellious young graffiti artists, Toby and Jay, who target the homes of the wealthy elite. According to the official synopsis, one fateful night, Toby breaks into the home of renowned former High Court Judge Sir Hector Blake (Bonneville) and accidentally uncovers a shocking secret – one that leads him on a terrifying journey through London, and endangers both himself and those closest to him.

The cast also includes Kelly Macdonald, George MacKay, Percelle Ascott, Varada Sethu.

The trailer reveals how Toby (played by George MacKay) discovers a secret that involves Hugh Bonneville’s character and how the two are starting a deadly game of cat and mouse.

When one woman argues that Hector Blake has a great reputation and “He’d take on inquests on behalf of refugees”, Toby replies that “It’s a publicity stunt”.

The neo-noir thriller will be released in select UK cinemas on 19 August and on Netflix from 31 August.
