Burberry has released a new ad starring Adam Driver for its new Hero Eau de Parfum.
The Oscar-nominated actor, who became a Centaur in an ad for the brand’s fragrance, released in July 2021, shows off his abs again in a commercial for the new Hero Eau de Parfum. Directed by Jonathan Glazer and set against the backdrop of the ocean, the spot features the House of Gucci star as he races a white horse into the water and swims alongside him.
At the end of the commercial, which is scored by the 2014 single “Two Weeks” by English singer FKA Twigs, from her debut studio album, “LP1,” Driver says in voiceover “It takes courage to embrace your extraordinary. Burberry Hero”.
Driver has also posed shirtless and with the horse, in the water, for a new print campaign, in front of photographer Mario Sorrenti.
According to the fashion label, the new ad campaign captures “an adventurous Adam Driver in the awe-inspiring beauty of the natural world, depicting what masculinity means today by embracing freedom of expression and the beauty of contradictions – how strength can be subtle, and emotions can empower.”
