
Burberry has launched its Autumn/Winter 2022 campaign, directed by Inez and Vinoodh.
Described as a modern reinterpretation of Burberry’s Equestrian Knight Design, which is a symbol of the Burberry community spirit that was crowdsourced around 1901, the campaign features Loli Bahia, Mariacarla Boscono, Lina Zhang, Irina Shayk, Moses Sumney, Richard Riakporhe and Khalil Ghani, as well as the Compton Cowboys, a Black-owned LA-based non-profit organization that Burberry is supporting in their efforts in uplifting local African-American communities in California.
The brand informed that the styling was by Lotta Volkova, the hair by Holli Smith, the make-up by Sam Visser, nails by Naomi Yasuda, and music is a song titled “a new family” by felicita.
As part of their partnership, Burberry will provide a donation to support the organization’s mission to uplift local African-American communities by combatting stereotypes and building lasting skills through equestrianism and a connection to the outdoors.
