Walmart aims to highlight, in its latest ad, that, if you shop at Walmart, you know how to find joy in all the little things for less.
Titled “Real People”, the spot features a diverse cast of Walmart shoppers, including a girl who gets Walmart groceries from the car, a mother returning home with Walmart groceries and helping her son with homework, kids doing crafts, a boy storing his piggy bank, and a family gathering around the table for a meal, while the voiceover delivers the following message: “If you shop at Walmart, you get it. You save on what you need, without skipping on the things you love. You know how to spend a little less to get a little more”.
The commercial, scored by Dylan Cartlidge’s song “Hang My Head”, ends with the voiceover saying the chain’s tagline, ” Save Money. Live Better”.
The retailer has also been promoting its curbside pickup and home delivery services in multiple commercials in the past years. The delivery fee, shown at checkout, varies and is based on the time you book. Pickup is free.
