Pure Leaf Iced Tea promotes its Lower Sugar variants in a new commercial.
The spot showcases the brand’s Lower Sugar tea, which is real brewed tea with 20 calories, 5g of sugar and no artificial sweeteners, being poured in a glass filled with ice cubes.
The drink contains 85% less sugar than the brand’s sweet tea.
Serving as soundtrack is a song set to the tune of Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” whose lyrics are as follows: “Pour Lower Sugar for me. Ohh, so subtly sweet. Pour Lower Sugar for me. All new from Pure Leaf”.
The new Lower Sugar range from Pure Leaf includes three flavors: Subtly Sweet Tea, Subtly Sweet Peach, and Subtly Sweet Lemon.
