Netflix has dropped the official trailer for its upcoming movie Look Both Ways, starring Lili Reinhart.
According to the official synopsis, the film, directed by Wanuri Kahiu, revolves around Natalie (Reinhart), “a young woman whose life diverges into two different paths on the night of her college graduation.” “In one life, she becomes pregnant and must navigate motherhood as a young adult in her hometown and in the other, she moves to LA to pursue her career. In both journeys, Natalie experiences life-changing love, pursues her dream career as an artist, and rediscovers herself.” the plot reads.
The cast also includes Danny Ramirez, David Corenswet, Aisha Dee, Andrea Savage, Luke Wilson, and Nia Long.
The trailer gives viewers a glimpse at the two different lives Natalie would have, based on the result of a pregnancy test. While the first one shows her celebrating not being pregnant and moving to LA, where she applies for a job to work with her idol and meets a handsome guy, with whom she has a beautiful love story, the second one follows her as she moves back to Austin, the town she grew up in and where her parents still live. Joined by the father of her child, she gives birth to a baby and navigates the ups and downs of motherhood.
The song used in the trailer is the 2018 single “Colors” by Payton Isburg, from her “Space Voices” album. The song is available for purchase on Amazon for $0.99.
Look Both Ways will be available for streaming on Netflix starting August 17.
