Cadillac showcases the all-electric 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ in a new ad, starring Labrinth, part of its “Colors of Emotions” campaign, aimed to highlight the colorful spectrum of emotions that drivers will experience behind the wheel of the Cadillac Lyriq.
Titled “Colors of Emotion: RED”, the spot is one of the three 30-second spots, alongside “GOLD” and “BLUE”, and features the Emmy award-winning rapper and producer Labrinth getting out of the new luxury electric SUV from Cadillac and taking center stage to lead an orchestra at a concert hall, with red being the main color, all while onscreen lines encourage people to be electrifying, exuberant, and iconic.
“Order your LIRIQ” another line reads as the commercial ends.
The soundtrack is provided by a new song from Labyrinth, titled “Lift Off”, which is not available yet because it is unreleased. The track is included on the musician’s upcoming and unreleased album.
“We wanted to emphasize… how the Lyriq is a completely new vehicle, built from the ground up. It’s not a repurposed gasoline-powered model. Through our collaboration with Labrinth, we emphasize this originality and how driving a Lyriq will be a whole new driving experience,” GM’s director of global Cadillac customer transformation Suzanne Guzzo said in a press release.
The 2023 LYRIQ features standard Rear-Wheel Drive, available All-Wheel Drive and an estimated range of over 300 miles with a full charge. Its spacious interior boasts a bold yet practical center console, an artfully integrated 33″ diagonal Advanced LED display, a sliding drawer and generous bins, Cadillac-exclusive AKG Studio 19-speaker audio system, next-generation Active Noise Cancellation, and ambient lighting.
In terms of safety, the EV boasts a suite of standard driver-assistance features including Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Safety Alert Seat, Rear Park Assist, HD Rear Vision Camera, and more.
