Just Eat has released a series of new ads featuring talking animals to promote the Love Island show.
In one of them, featuring a couple of parrots – Lloyd and his lovebird, Izzy – the latter asks Lloyd to play snog, marry, pie, but the latter has all kinds of questions. He wants to know if the pie is sweet or savory, which makes the girl point out that it’s not a real pie, and starts talking about how he loves flan, which he thinks it’s underrated.
The spot ends with the voiceover saying the tagline “Get stuck into Love Island with Just Eat”.
Snog, Marry, Pie was the tenth challenge from Season 4 of Love Island UK, which aired on June 26th, 2018.
In this game, the boys and girls both line up and take turns to choose who they want to snog, marry and pie. In order to do this, they would need to kiss the person they want to snog, slide a wedding ring onto the person they want to marry, and smash a pie into the face of the person they want to pie.
This is not the first time Lloyd and Izzy share the screen in a spot for Just Eat. The two lovebirds were featured in an advert in 2021.
Other recently launched adverts feature Cam the Chameleon asking a tortoise if she has ever been stood up, which makes the latter answer that she has been stood on, and two lizards.
