Michael Kors and luxe Italian sportswear brand ellesse have teamed up for an exclusive collection that celebrates the athletic styles of the ’70s and offers a luxurious and modern take on retro athleisure.
The campaign, shot in Miami by renowned fashion photographer Lachlan Bailey and styled by Mel Ottenberg, editor-in-chief of cult pop magazine Interview, features model/actress Emily Ratajkowski, emerging Brooklyn-based rap musician Jay Critch, and a cast of musicians, models and multihyphenates.
The soundtrack is provided by “Thousands Ways” by Harry Fraud & Jay Critch.
Evoking the bold attitude, confidence and eternal cool of vintage lifestyle looks, the capsule collection includes 24 pieces emblazoned with a one-of-a-kind insignia that fuses Michael Kors’ iconic logo with Ellesse’s tennis-and-ski-inspired one.
