Heineken has launched a new ad campaign, titled “Cheers to All Fans”.
The spot, created by Publicis Italy/Le Pub and directed by Jakob Marky, features a diverse cast of women fans demonstrating their commitment to the sport in various ways. One of them is trekking through bad weather to catch the game, another one goes to the restaurant loos to get the latest score, another one is shown lingering in the stands after a defeat, and another one is shown egging on passers-by after a win.
The soundtrack music is “Never Walk Alone” performed by Dutch singer-songwriter Lorrèn.
The “Cheers to All Fans” campaign also marks the launch of an online resource called “Fresher Football”, which brings together stats pertaining to the UEFA Champions League, like top goalscorers and most decorated teams, taking into account teams and players on both the men’s and women’s side.
Heineken signed up to a multi-year sponsorship deal with the UEFA Women’s Champions League and UEFA Women’s Euros in 2021.
