Bank of America has released a recruiting video, highlighting its values and that employees, whose efforts are recognized and rewarded, can make a world of difference and a difference in the world.
“What happens when purpose drives progress?” an onscreen line reads in the opening of the 90-second ad, which highlights that, at Bank of America, they are helping their clients “move forward with more confidence, more control, more peace of mind to strengthening communities, stepping up their longtime commitments, helping create more sustainability, more opportunity and more equality.” The financial institution also says that “creating change matters and so do the people who make it happen”. “As teammates, we’re there for each other, investing in individual career growth and development, recognizing and rewarding each teammate’s value, supporting physical, financial, and emotional well-being, creating more equity and inclusion, to bring our whole self to work and do more together,” other lines appear on the screen, juxtaposed with footage that illustrates this message, such as employees of different ages, walks of life, nationalities and categories, including LGBTQ community, with different impairments, and more.
Viewers are also informed, at the end of the video, that, at Bank of America, they can make a world of difference and a difference in the world.
The soundtrack is provided by Hannah Grace’s cover of the iconic Praise You (originally by Fatboy Slim).
Included in her debut album, “Remedy,” released in September 2020, the song has also been used as soundtrack in a series of Lloyds Bank adverts and is available for purchase on Amazon for $1.29.
