White Claw celebrates those who seek opportunity and see a world filled with potential in its latest ad campaign, titled “Bring the Wave”, which aims to position the brand as a market leader with a pioneering attitude.
Created by VCCP and directed by award-winning London-based director Sam Brown, the black-and-white spot, dubbed “Storm,” features dozens of beachgoers grabbing their belongings and running at the sight of storm clouds. One man, though, who is the Brazilian surfer Caio Vaz, heads in the opposite direction, toward the ocean, eager to ride a massive wave. As he’s getting ready to face the storm and pursue his dream, the sun is shown striking through the clouds.
The soundtrack is the 2015 single “Morning Sun” by American-born, jazz musician Melody Gardot.
