Molson Coors has released a new commercial to tout its Vizzy Hard Seltzer.
The spot features a group of people at a pool party on a bright sunny day, with lit grills and lots of Vizzy Hard Seltzer to help them get in an even better mood. However, when the sun is on, the grills are lit, you have a Vizzy Hard Seltzer, music is in your control, the grass is perfectly green, and even your crush is there, what else do you need? the ad implies.
Set to the tune of Hits Different by Kungs, the commercial also features a gnome making an appearance on a toy tractor, and ends with the tagline “Vizzy Iz A Vibe” flashing across the screen.
Vizzy Hard Seltzer is promoted as the first hard seltzer with antioxidant Vitamin C. The drink is available in several flavors, including Passionfruit Watermelon, Raspberry Tangerine, Pineapple Mango, Strawberr Orange, and Peach Lemonade.
Vizzy Hard Seltzer’s 12-ounce cans contain 5 percent alcohol by volume and 100 calories.
According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest and Consumer Federation of America, Molson Coors company is in violation of FDA rules that prohibit misleading claims and strongly discourage food companies from fortifying snack foods, carbonated drinks, or alcoholic drinks with vitamins.
