Rightmove encourage you to “Find Your Happy ” its latest advert.
The spot tells the story of a scarecrow that turned its dream of moving from the field it used to live on to a nice house in the town thanks to Rightmove.
One bright sunny day, after a stormy night, a group of boys passed by on their bikes and one of them lost his smartphone. A crow touched the display and she thus found out about Rightmove. She then came to life and started running in pursuit of her “one day” move.
“One Day Could Be Today” an onscreen line reads at the end of the advert, which sees the scarecrow turned into a woman running across the field and the Rightmove tagline “find your happy” appearing on the screen.
The song playing in the background is Girl by SYML, from his self-titled album, released in 2019.
Rightmove invites you to imagine a world where that move to the country, the city or coast stops being your “one day” dream and starts being your everyday.
