H&M has released the film for its Spring/Summer 2022 campaign, titled “Welcome to Hotel Hennes”.
Hôtel Hennes is a fictional fashion destination, inspired by legendary art hotels where artists, thinkers and icons gathered, collaborated, and completed residencies, and the short film takes viewers on a trip to this hotel, where fashion has no rules.
Gigi Hadid, who plays the hotel owner, welcomes a new guest, played by model Jill Kortleve. The latter slowly discovers a new world, where anything is possible.
The cast also includes content creator Christina “Tinx” Najjar as the Hôtel’s receptionist, model Olivia Vinten as the Head of Housekeeping, dancer and content creator Donté Colley as the Head of Glow-ups, model Devyn Garcia as a lifeguard, editor Julia Hobbs as a fashion journalist, model Precious Lee as a catwalk model, Jazzelle Zanaughtti, Kiddy Akita Lou, Isabelle Chaput and Nelson Tiberghien of the Young Emperors.
The soundtrack is provided by the iconic 1977 single “Yes Sir, I Can Boogie” by Spanish vocal duo Baccara from their self-titled album.
The retailer will also release of a selection of new Hôtel Hennes merchandise, including beach towels, sunglasses, tote bags, bikinis, shorts and t-shirts, all crafted in palettes and patterns inspired by the upbeat retro look of Hôtel Hennes – that will be available for purchase in stores and online from April 28th.
