Cupcake Vineyards promotes its low-calorie Cupcake LightHearted Pinot Grigio wine in a new commercial.
The spot features a group of friends at a picnic in a park, who – after enjoying a glass of Cupcake LightHearted – start floating up in the air. Their snacks and their dog also start floating weightlessly into the sky, while in the background the song “Free” by Kyle Thornton & Company plays.
The commercial ends with the voiceover introducing Cupcake LightHearted as a wine for those who take their wine lightly”.
Launched in July 2020, the Cupcake LightHearted contains just 80 calories, 8 percent alcohol by volume and less than 1 gram of sugar in each 5-ounce serving. This drink has 20% fewer calories than leading hard seltzers, and is vegan, gluten-free and low carb.
