Maria Fassi calls in her golf legend friends Nancy Lopez and Ben Crenshaw to help out Eva Longoria become better at golf in the latest AT&T commercial.
Titled “Too Many Cooks,” the 30-second ad opens with Maria Fassi telling the Desperate Housewives star that she used AT&T 5G and called in some friends to help her with her game.
It turns out her friends are golf legends Nancy Lopez and Ben Crenshaw, who are ready to give the award-winning actress some tips on how to move before hitting. The two seniors start telling her to check her alignment, widen her stance, bend her knee, loosen her grip, and more, exasperating Eva. “Maybe AT&T 5G is too reliable,” she tells Maria, who urges her to just hit the ball, which she does.
“AT&T helps push what’s possible, like making Eva better at golf,” the voiceover says at the end of the commercial.
Longoria, Fassi, Lopez and Crenshaw are only the latest names in the growing roster of celebrities starring in AT&T’s ad campaigns. The carrier has also teamed up with actors Kumail Nanjiani and Zooey Deschanel, Coach Krzyzewski and Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford for its latest March Madness commercials, with Mila Kunis, Demi Moore and Zac Efron for its Super Bowl 2022 commercials, as well as several other celebrities in the past years.
