Ruggable promotes its washable rugs in a new commercial, urging viewers to take the floor with washable rugs from Ruggable.
The spot, part of the brand’s first-ever national campaign, created by ad agency Red Antler and titled “Take the Floor,” opens with a variety of scenarios in which people are forced to obey a series of strict rules, such as to stay seated on the plane and keep the seatbelt on, to print only black & white at the office and not walk-in in restaurants. Arriving in the comfort of their own home, where they have washable rugs from Ruggable, the individuals can relax and enjoy every single moment as they can live by their own rules and not worry about spills and other incidents.
“Make your own rules with a washable rug” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial, before the Ruggable tagline, “Take the floor,” appears.
The rugs showcased throughout the ad are the Ruggable Moroccan Diamond Plush Rug, the Ruggable Buffalo Plaid Black & White Rug, the Ruggable Delphina Delft Blue Rug, the Ruggable Absida Rainbow Rug, the Ruggable Jonathan Adler Venom Emerald Rug, and the Ruggable Egret White Shag Rug.
The soundtrack music is an original song, specifically made for this ad, whose lyrics include “got to stay true to myself, make my own rules here and now, I’m free to live my own life, everything is just right”.
Ruggable’s rug system comes in two pieces – the lightweight, removable Rug Cover fits perfectly inside the washing machine, while the clingy, nonslip Rug Pad keeps the Cover securely in place. When it’s time for a wash, you must simply peel off the Cover, throw it in the wash and reattach.
