Nissan celebrates its status as Official Partner of March Madness in a series of new ads, part of the “Road 2 Final Four” campaign.

The spots feature various NCAA mascots hitting the road to Final Four in an exciting lineup of Nissan vehicles, headlined by the all-new Z and the all-electric ARIYA. “Baldwin” the Boston College Eagle, “Nova” The Airforce Bird, “Big Jay” the Kansas Jayhawk, The Oregon Duck, “Hokie” The Virginia Tech Turkey, “Cocky” The South Carolina Gamecok, The Duke Blue Devil, “Spike” The Gonzaga Bulldog are shown on their way to the Final Four in Nissan’s most cutting-edge models.

One of the ads features a mascot speeding down the road to Final Four at the wheel of a 2023 Nissan Z, racing against another car. As they arrive at a gas station, where a host of other mascots are waiting for them, it turns out it was the “Testudo” the Maryland Terrapin Turtle driving the Z.

The soundtrack music is the 1977 single East Bound and Down, recorded by Jerry Reed for the soundtrack for the film Smokey and the Bandit.

Nissan USA say they are proud to support men’s and women’s NCAA basketball nationwide and invite fans to be a part of the 2022 Bracket Challenge and fill out their 2022 March Madness bracket today.
