McDonald’s UK announces the return of its Big Tasty in a new advert, highlighting that consumers will have to make one big decision because the fan-favorite menu item returns in three varieties: Original, with Bacon, and all-new Big Tasty BBQ.
The spot features a diverse cast of people heading to McDonald’s determined to buy the Big Tasty. However, when they enter the restaurant and are asked which one they want, they are left speechless and confused because they didn’t expect the variety. It turns out they have to make “one big decision” in just a few seconds which is not easy for them, apparently.
The song used in the ad is Making Your Mind Up by the British pop group Bucks Fizz, from their self-titled album, released in 1981. The track, which was the winner of the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest, representing the UK, is available for purchase on Amazon as MP3 ($0.69), Audio CD ($5.16), and Vinyl (from $4.30).
Made with 100% British and Irish beef, topped with Emmental cheese, tomato, lettuce, slivered onions and lashed with signature Big Tasty sauce, the Big Tasty will be served after 11AM at participating restaurants for a limited time only, until 26th April.
Alongside the Big Tasty range, there also are other fan-favorites returning to the menu, such as the Homestyle Crispy Chicken burger, the Chilli Cheese bites, Creme Egg McFlurry and Cadbury Caramel Mc Flurry.
