Arby’s promotes its new Spicy Fish Sandwich in a commercial featuring a diss track performed by PUSHA T.
The rapper takes a jab at McDonald’s right from the first line, which says “I’m the reason the whole world love it” – Pusha claiming he is the one who (ghost)wrote McDonald’s jingle “I’m Lovin’ It” nearly 20 years ago. He then takes aim at McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish, which he heavily criticizes.
The following lines are:’
“Now I gotta crush it.
Filet-O-Fish is **
And you should be disgusted.
How dare you sell a square fish
asking us to trust it,
a half slice of cheese,
Mickey D’s on a budget?
Arby’s Crispy Fish is simply it.
With lines ’round the corner
We might need a guest list.

The sandwiches taste fresh.
A little cube of fish from a clown is basic.
Say less, this argument is baseless.
Drowned in tartar, that Filet-O-Fish is tasteless.
Arby’s only deals in the greatness.

The ad also features juxtaposed footage of the two menu items from McDonald’s and Arby’s respectively, of a clown holding bags of money, a sailboat sinking into the ocean, and a close-up, slow-motion shot of a bear eating a fish.
Arby’s Spicy Fish Sandwich, which was added to the menu in February, has a crispy fish filet covered with spicy seasoning, and is topped with roasted jalapeños, shredded lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce, all piled on to a toasted sesame bun. The sandwich will be available for a limited-time only.
