Apple iPad Air High-School Election Emma, Max & Sonia Commercial / Advert Song

Apple advertises its new iPad Air in a new commercial.

The spot features two high-school students, Emma and Max, who compete against each other for the title of class president. Using their iPad Air, the two come up with all kinds of ideas to promote themselves. They design their campaign posters with the device and create even custom merchandise. While Emma launches “Vote for Emma” T-shirts, her rival goes for summer hats personalized with the text “Vote for Max.” However, the election ends unexpectedly for the two competitors as Sonia, a third candidate, wins.

Throughout the ad, the iPad Air’s 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with 5G connectivity, the 12MP Ultra Wide front camera with Center Stage, messaging, keyboard compatibility, Apple Pencil support, and other features are shown off.

“Your next computer is not a computer,” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial.

The soundtrack music is This Town Ain’t Big Enough for Both of Us by Sparks. Included on the “Kimono My House” album, released in 1974, the song is available for purchase on Amazon for $1.29.

Apple’s iPad Air 5, supercharged by the Apple M1 chip, is on sale from March 18, 2022, in five color options, on Apple’s website and Apple retail stores.

Pricing begins at $599.
