Toyota Tundra Born to Lend a Hand Commercial Song

Toyota highlights, in its latest commercial that “The all-new Tundra was born tough and more powerful than ever, so you can lend a hand to anyone who needs it”.

The emotional spot, titled “Born to Lend a Hand,” depicts a variety of scenarios in which the 2022 Tundra is used to carry heavy weights in cases of fire, accidents, and more. And it even helps a trailer owner to move his trailer from the side of a dangerous road.

Serving as soundtrack is Lean on Me by Bill Withers. The iconic song, from the 1972 album “Still Bill”, is available for purchase on Amazon for $1.29.

For its Super Bowl ads this year, the automaker has enlisted Tommy Lee Jones, Leslie Jones, Rashida Jones, and Nick Jonas, as well as Paralympic gold medalists Brian and Robin McKeeve, who co-star in a second Big Game ad. The three surname-sharing celebrities are shown trying to keep up alongside the biggest star of them all, the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra, in the first commercial, created by Saatchi & Saatchi and titled “The Joneses”. They are at the wheels of the pick-up truck and compete in an impromptu off-road race through deserts and mountains. At the end of the ad, which is scored by Tom Jones’ classic “It’s Not Unusual”, Nick Jonas makes an appearance as an interloper who wins the reluctant approval of his near namesakes.
