Squarespace Super Bowl Commercial – Feat. Zendaya as Sally

Zendaya stars as Sally, a seashell-themed small business owner, in the latest commercial from Squarespace.

Narrated by Andre 3000, the 30-second ad features Sally, a young woman who sold seashells by the seashore, but, since her business didn’t sell too well, set up a seashell store on Squarespace. Soon her seashells started selling and, in a short time, she became a seaside sensation. She expanded her activity and began selling swanky seashell accessories, seashell serenity sessions, savory seaside snacks, and even seashell excursions of the seashore.

“Sally’s seashells were so successful she sailed into the setting sun as a seashell celebrity,” the voiceover says at the end of the commercial, which carries the tagline “Everything to Shell Anything”.

Zendaya is not the first celebrity to star in a Squarespace campaign. The website-building company teamed up, in the past, with Dolly Parton, Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves.
