After two years of social distancing measures, Guinness is encouraging consumers to head back into bars this St. Patrick’s Day and wishes everyone wishes everyone a Happy St. Patrick Day.
The TV ad, part of a new national broadcast campaign titled “All Together Now,” is set in a bar and features a diverse cast of people of different ages and races, dressed in green and orange (the colors of the Irish flag), passing out pints of Guinness and water in Guinness glasses and singing the 1967 hit single “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
The ad, which aims to increase brand sales, is set to run from February 16 through March. To help jumpstart the season’s celebrations, the legendary Irish brewer is giving out $50,000 in cash prizes to 20 different winners through its Great Reunion Toast contest. The Diageo-owned brand will also play a major role during the parades and celebrations in New York, Boston and Chicago.
