AppleTV+ has released the trailer for its limites drama series WeCrashed, starring Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway.
Created by Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello based on the podcast “WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork” by Wondery, the eight-part series focuses on the rise and fall of Adam Neumann (Leto), the Israeli businessman who co-founded WeWork, a commercial real estate company that provides shared workspaces for technology startups.
The trailer features Neumann starting the company with his wife, Rebekah (Anne Hathaway) and developing it into a global brand. However, tensions rise between the two, as Rebekah, who served as the company’s chief brand and impact officer, feels like her contributions to the company are diminished by her husband and the public at large.
The trailer also shows how the startup turned from a single co-working space into a global brand worth $47 billion in under a decade and how, less than a year, its value plummeted.
The soundtrack is provided by Ugonna Onyekwe’s “Overcome”.
WeCrashed is scheduled to premiere with its first three episodes on Friday, March 18. Subsequently, there will be one new episode every week through April 22.
