Xfinity promotes its Xfinity xFi network in a new commercial, highlighting that this is champion-level gig speed WiFi.
The 30-second ad opens with the voiceover declaring that Team USA is on the largest gig speed network, which means this mega fan never misses a second. The voiceover also mentions that “it’s gig speed WiFi that’s Mikaela Shiffrin fast”.
At this point, Shiffrin (two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and World Cup alpine skier) makes an appearance, agreeing that it’s fast, indeed, and asks if Internet threats are blocked. The answer is yes, even for a group of upstairs all-nighters rocking WiFi speeds faster than a gig.
The commercial ends with the voiceover adding that Xfinity xFi is podium worthy fast.
This is not the first time Shiffrin stars in a commercial for Xfinity, whish is a sponsor of Team USA. In 2017, she was featured in a spot promoting the X1 Voice Remote.
