Subway continues its Eat Fresh Refresh campaign with a new installment starring Marshawn Lynch.
The spot features the chain’s new Roast Beef Footlong, which is made with Hearty Multigrain Bread and USDA Choice Angus Roast Beef, and Marshawn during a press conference, where he was supposed to make an in-depth analysis of this footlong. It turns out, though, he just ate the product shot.
The commercial ends with the voiceover urging viewers to save big by ordering through the Subway app. Consumers can now get 15% off any Footlong in the mobile app by using the code “15OFF”.
Marshawn has starred in several other ads for Subway, promoting its new Baja Steak & Jack and new protein-packed bowls. He has partnered with for other brands, as well, including MANSCAPED (for which he promotes the Lawn Mower 4.0).
The sandwich chain has also enlisted Serena Williams, Stephen Curry, Tom Brady and Megan Rapinoe to star in its “Eat Fresh Refresh” campaign, which announces improvements to almost every core product on the menu and a better digital and in-restaurant experience to ensure the brand delivers better choices every day.
