DoorDash advertises its DashPass, a pass that lets you get everything you need at your door, with $0 delivery fees and exclusive offers, in a dedicated campaign.
One of the commercials features a woman who buys online all kinds of products for her, her dog, and her household and has them delivered for free through DoorDash. Thus, she gets dog sweatsuits that match her outfits, a crib for her dog, food at the office and at home, items her children need and other products necessary at home, such as batteries for the remote control.
“All the delivery, no delivery fees. DashPass,” the voiceover says at the end of the commercial, which also informs that this is only applicable for eligible orders and is subject to availability. A minimum order amount may be applicable to all DashPass eligible-orders. The 30-day free trial period was valid until December 31, 2021 for first-time users of DashPass. After the trial period customers are automatically enrolled at the current rate and their card will be automatically charged. Other fees, including service fees, taxes and gratuity, may apply.
The soundtrack music is the iconic The Bare Necessities (From “The Jungle Book”/Soundtrack Version) by Phil Harris and Bruce Reitherman, from the album “The Bare Necessities”.
