Colgate highlights, in one of its latest ads, that a smile can bring optimism to those around you.
The commercial, titled “The Power of a Smile”, shows Caleb, a boy with big, round eyeglasses, getting on the school bus and sitting near a girl. Seeing his smile, she smiles too and starts a conversation with him, asking if he has moved in the area.
The heart-warming ad ends with the two children smiling at each other and with the question “What can your smile do?” flashing across the screen.
Over the past year, Colgate has partnered with academic thought-leaders, positive psychologists and members of the Gen Z community to reinforce the importance of choosing optimism. The brand has shared stories from real people who have found the courage to smile and keep doing what it takes to make the world a better place.
