Chevrolet showcases its 2022 Chevy Silverado in a new commercial, featuring Walter, the cat who acts like a dog.
The ad, titled “Walter in Winter,” shows Walter and his owner heading out in a Chevy Silverado Trail Boss for some epic snow day adventures. Walter manages to impress a skier whom they find stuck in snow, but his owner believes the appraisal is for his Chevy Silverado. When the skier says “That’s incredible”, referring to Walter trying to save him, Walter’s owner says it’s a Chevy Silverado Trail Boss, built for off-roading right from the factory.
Set to the tune of the country folk song Big Rock Candy Mountain, the commercial ends with the voiceover saying the tagline “Find new friends. Find new roads”.
The Chevy Silverado truck features a refreshed exterior and an enhanced 2.7L Turbo High-Output engine that offers impressive torque, a two-inch lift and Goodyear Duratrac tires, a new interior, boasting a 13.4-inch diagonal touch-screen, as well as available Super Cruise driver assistance technology.
The automaker has enlisted some famous truck lovers, including actor Chris Pratt, platinum-selling artist BRELAND, NASCAR champion Chase Elliott, and off-road champion Chad Hall, to help provide a first look at the off-road capabilities of the new 2022 Silverado ZR2.
