AT&T continues its “Life, Gig-ified” campaign with a new installment starring celebrities. This time, Demi Moore and Mila Kunis literally take center stage, but not for long, and poke fun at their shared romantic history.
The 60-second ad features an awards show, where the host is ready to announce the award for the high-school’s “Most Admired Alum”. Mila gets up from her chair to walk toward the stage and, along the way, realizes that Demi Moore does the same.
To their surprise, the host informs that the winner is Anna Gomez, who it turns out is the school’s “first GIGillionaire” with high speed internet. “With AT&T Fiber, she has got the fastest internet with hyper gig speeds, so her family has crazy fast gaming and they can stream movies in 8K,” the announcer says.
When Demi says “I had no idea that we went to the same high school,” Mila replies “We have a lot in common”. The two actresses are soon ushered off the stage, while the ladies at the winner’s table claim they don’t know who the two are.
The commercial, which ends with the tagline “Live like a GIGillionaire” flashing across the screen, is set to air during Super Bowl LVI on February 13.
In 2015, Kunis married Ashton Kutcher, Moore’s ex-husband, whom she divorced in 2013. However, they actually attended the same high school, Fairfax High in West Hollywood, but 23 years apart. Kunis graduated in 2001 and Moore left during her junior year.
