Jon Hamm wonders why Apple TV+ has movies and shows starring everyone but him in a new ad for the streaming service.
The spot, crated by TBWA\Media Arts Lab, features the Mad Men star sitting in his living room and flipping through the extensive list of shows and films on the Apple TV+ homepage. “Hey, Apple, did I do something to offend you?” he asks in the opening of the 60-second video, highlighting that there are many names in Apple TV+ roster, including Samuel J. Jackson, Billie Eilish, Tom Holland, Chris Evans, and many more, even Snoopy and two Mahershalas, and he is the only one left who is not featured at all. “What about Jon Hamm?” he asks. He then continues to browse the shows and name many other actors. In the meantime, he also phones up Tom Hanks to congratulate him for starring in not one but two movies included on Apple TV+ lineup: the robot buddy movie Finch and Greyhound. He sees even Jon Stewart and concludes that “literally everyone” is on there, except him.
