The new Christmas campaign from Toom Baumarkt stars tennis legend Ana Ivanović and 2014 soccer world champion Bastian Schweinsteiger getting ready for Christmas and dealing with some differences.
The spot follows the athlete dream couple as they make Christmas cookies, adorn the Christmas three, get dressed for the Christmas Eve, and more. While they do all these things differently, with Ana going on the traditional way and Bastian opting for football-related twists in everything he does. He thus decorates his Christmas sugar cookies with football-related objects, such as jerseys, footballs, and more, hangs the Christmas tree with football-shaped baubles, and chooses a red sweater with a football on it to wear on Christmas Eve. There is one thing they agree on, though, and that’s the Christmas tree, which is a Fairtree from Toom Baumarkt.
The commercial ends with a snapshot of the “Fair Trees” seal and the “PRO 2 PLANET” label, attached to more sustainable products.
