
Sky TV has released the official trailer for the romantic comedy Book of Love.
The movie, directed by Mexican filmmaker Analeine Cal y Mayor, from a script by David Quantick and Analeine Cal y Mayor, revolves around uptight English writer Henry (Sam Claflin), who discovers that his dull, failing novel has become a smashing success in Mexico, where the Spanish translator Maria (VerĂ³nica Echegui) has rewritten it into a spicy erotic thriller. According to the official synopsis, opposites attract as the two are thrown together and travel through Mexico on a book tour. The cast also includes Horacio Garcia Rojas, Antonia Clarke, Melissa Pino, Giovani Florido, and Galya Vidal.
The trailer shows how Henry Copper discovers that his book is number one in Mexico and how he embarks on a journey there. He meets Maria, the translator whom he realizes he had changed the entire book. He is not delighted at all by this and he reluctantly goes on a book tour with her across Mexico. Along the way, they get to know each other and the chemistry between them ensures sparks fly.
Book of Love will be available exclusively on Sky Cinema from 13 February 2022.
