SodaStream Snoop Dogg Fizz the Season Commercial

SodaStream Snoop Dogg & Turtle Commercial

SodaStream has released a new ad starring Snoop Dogg.

The spot opens with the rapper sitting in an armchair and saying that everyone asks him how come he is so happy. He then explains that it’s “fairly simple”. “I believe the small things are the most meaningful. So this holiday season I simply enjoy fresh sparkling water with a nearly extinct friend,” he says, enjoying a glass of sparkling water with a sea turtle. The two fellows also mention that one SodaStream can save thousands of single use plastic bottles.

The commercial ends with the voiceover urging viewers to Fizz the Season with SodaStream and shop now.

Snoop Dogg partnered with SodaStream, at the end of the last year, for its holiday campaign, to encourage consumers to reduce single-use plastic waste. The rapper declared, in a statement, that he loves his SodaStream so it was natural for him to partner with the brand for this campaign. “They make a great product and a big difference in the word. I am happy to help spread the love,” he added.

Karin Schifter Maor, global chief marketing officer of SodaStream, said that “SodaStream is the ultimate small change to reduce single-use plastic waste, and Snoop Dogg is a great partner to help widely spread this message in a fun way”.

Over the years, the Israel-based manufacturing company has enlisted several celebrities to star in its advertising campaigns. Among them are Scarlett Johansson, who quit her ambassador role with Oxfam after the charity criticized her for appearing in a SodaStream commercial, Mayim Bialik of “The Big Bang Theory”, Kristian Nairn of “Game of Thrones”, Bill Nye, who starred in the brand’s 2020 Super Bowl commercial, Sarah Catherine Hook and Icelandic professional strongman and actor Hafthor “The Mountain” Bjornsson, who starred in the controversial “Time for a Change” commercial, which took a jab at Coca Cola’s iconic 1971 commercial “Hilltop”.

SodaStream is available for purchase at several retailers, including Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Staples, Williams Sonoma and Amazon.

Consumers can easily make flavored sparkling water by using a SodaStream Sparkling Water Maker to turn flat water into sparkling water at the touch of a button and then add in bubly drops. bubly drops for SodaStream are now available at, Amazon, and other online retailers and will continue to roll out to multiple brick-and-mortar retailers in the future, at a suggested retail price of $5.99 per bottle.
