SiriusXm has teamed up with Kevin Hart and lots of other celebrities to promote its satellite radio services and the comedian’s “Laugh Out Loud” Radio, in a new ad campaign, called “The Home of SiriusXM”.
One of the six spots, titled “Gizmos,” opens with Hart sitting in the car to listen to his “Laugh Out Loud Radio”. LL Cool J shows up and tells him that he doesn’t have to sit in the car to do that because he can listen to his favorite channel anywhere. Shocked by the news, he gets inside and uses a laptop to keep listening to his LOL Radio while walking on the treadmill. At this point, Bebe Rexha comes in and informs him that he could use his phone. Another scene sees him trying to tap with his elbow on the smartphone while making bread in the kitchen. Kehlani then walks in and asks Alexa to play Kevin Hart’s “Laugh Out Loud Radio” on SiriusXM. “What?” he shouts again, surprised that he can listen to SiriusXm also this way.
“Everything you want to hear lives here” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial, which sees Hart shouting even louder.
Hart’s “Laugh Out Loud” comedy series is available to listeners nationwide on SiriusXM channel 96, the SiriusXM app, and at home with Amazon Alexa, the Google Assistant, or however they stream in their house.
Another commercial from the “The Home of SiriusXM” multi-channel campaign, which has been created in partnership with independent creative agency Translation, features Brett Favre, Normani, Bella Poarch, Diplo, Sway Calloway, Jeff Lewis, Helio Castroneves, Storme Warren and the Morning Mashup crew, and Hart, of course, all living as roommates in the SiriusXM house.
The ads are featured during NFL football broadcasts on CBS, on iHeart and ESPN radio, cable networks including Discovery, Paramount, Bravo and BET and OTT channels such as Hulu, Roku, Viacom, Discovery+ and CBSi.
