French telco Bouygues Telecom highlights that its network brings you closer to what you love in its Christmas commercial, which pays homage to Johnny Hallyday.
The spot, created by BETC Paris, features a girl who performs one of Hallyday’s most famous songs, “La Musique Que J’Aime”. While she’s holding the microphone, her brother and father are instrumentalists and the mother films the concert and shares it online. The video of the young singer gets more and more viewers of different ages and walks of life, who obviously are fans of the late singer, also known as “The French Elvis”. The commercial also gives a glimpse at posters, records, video clips, and collectibles featuring the storied musician, who sold more than 110 million records and earned 10 Victoires de la Musique (the French Grammy Awards).
The commercial ends with an onscreen line saying that Bouygues Telecom’s network brings you closer to what you love.
“A moment of sharing that would not have happened without the performance of Bouygues Telecom’s mobile network. Because at Christmas, like all year around, the quality of the 4G/5G mobile networks of Bouygues Telecom helps French people stay in touch with those that they want to be close to, wherever they are,” Tanguy Moillard, communications director at Bouygues Telecom, said in a press statement.
