M&S Christmas Advert Song – Feat. Woman with Short Blonde Hair Jumping into Puddle

M&S Christmas Advert Girl - Feat. actress Madisyn Ritland

M&S has unveiled its Christmas advert, which “celebrates the joy of the season and showcases the one stop shop M&S is for everything you need to make it special.”

The spot, created by ODD and shot by Autumn de Wilde, features a woman (played by Madisyn Ritland) as she leaves the mundane everyday life by jumping into a puddle and enjoys the holiday period by shopping for gifts, dancing and having fun with friends, and spending quality time with her partner and children in matching pajamas.

Serving as soundtrack is Darlene Love’s version of the popular song “A Marshmallow World”.

The retailer’s Christmas campaign, which includes a dedicated spot for its festive food, is set to run during ad breaks on shows including Good Morning Britain, This Morning and Emmerdale. The marketing effort also marks a first for M&S. The retailer is the first in the UK to use an innovation called “Flowcode,” which allows a QR code to be seamlessly worked into the advert. The TV spots will be complemented by several other print cover wraps, a Waterloo station activation and hand-painted murals.

The Christmas campaign is a continuation of M&S’s “Anything but Ordinary” brand platform that the retailer launched for its Autumn/Winter collection.
