Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming limited series True Story, starring Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes.

The show, executive produced by “Narcos” and “Narcos: Mexico” showrunner Eric Newman, revolves around a world-famous comedian named The Kid (Hart), who desperately searches for a way out after a night in Philadelphia with his older brother (Snipes), who shows back up in his life, threatens to sabotage more than his success.

According to the trailer, which is scored by a catchy tune, whose lyrics include “let me tell you the truth is in your eyes cause eyes don’t lie,” the series sees the two brothers dealing with something that seems the consequence of a lost night, in which The Kid drank too much. Dangers, violence, detectives investigating the comedian, whose life takes a dramatic turn, are the “ingredients” of the show, which also stars Tawny Newsome, Will Catlett, Paul Adelstein, Theo Rossi, Ash Santos, John Ales, Chris Diamantopoulos, Lauren London, and Billy Zane.

Described as a “gripping journey of two brothers entangled in a world of celebrity, crime, and lies, Season 1 of True Story, consisting of seven episodes, launches November 24, only on Netflix.
