BMW has launched a new ad campaign for the BMW Service, which aims to highlight how well BMW technicians can help to fix any of your problems.
One of the spots, titled “The Heist,” features a man who finds himself with three bank robbers in the backseat of his BMW iX3 electric SUV, when their getaway car, an E36 generation 3 Series, pulls away without them. His cup of coffee, which he was enjoying until the trio got into his car, ends up spilled by one of the criminals in the cabin. However, this is not the only thing staining the vehicle’s luxurious interior. When the robbers open one of the bags, its theft prevention spray covers one of them in pink paint, while also spraying the same paint onto the car’s headliner.
The end of the commercial sees the iX3 owner with his car in a BMW Service center, having the paint removed from its interior and fixing its windshield hood.
“No matter how bizarre, funny, dangerous, or emotional, we’re here to help,” the automaker says in the official description for the video.
The BMW iX3 features an 80-kilowatt-hour battery (74 kWh usable) that can cover 460 kilometers in the WLTP test, gets to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.8 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 180 km/h.
