Netflix has released the official trailer for the third season of teen drama Sex Education, written and created by Laurie Nunn.
The trailer reveals that Moordale High will be going through some major changes. It features Girls actor Jemima Kirke as the strict new headteacher Hope Haddon and she’s enforcing a number of unwelcome new rules, including school uniforms. Otis (Asa Butterfield) is shown with a new look – he sports a mustache which he has been growing all summer – and attempting to hide his secret hookup, Eric and Adam are officially dating, and Jean is pregnant.
The cast also includes Gillian Anderson, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells, Aimee-Lou Wood, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Chaneil Kular, Simone Ashley, Mimi Keene, and Tanya Reynolds as regulars. New additions will include Jason Isaacs as Peter Groff, singerr Dua Saleh making her acting debut as new student Cal, and Indra Ové as Elsie’s foster mother Anna.
The song playing in the trailer is “Death” by English post-punk band White Lies, from their 2009 album “To Lose My Life” album.
The third season of Sex Education will launch on Netflix this month, September 17th 2021.
