Neflix has released the trailer for its upcoming Spanish series Jaguar.
The show, created by Ramón Campos and Gema R. Neira, is set in 1960s Spain and revolves around Isabel Garrido, a survivor of the Mauthausen extermination camp, follows the trail of Bachmann, the most dangerous Nazi in Europe.
She soon discovers that she is not alone in her mission. Lucena, Castro, Sordo and Marsé – a group of agents seeking justice against the hundreds of Nazis who fled to the nation to hide after WWII – help her to do justice.
The cast includes Blanca Suárez in the leading role, Stefan Weinert as Otto Bachmann, Francesc Garrido as Marsé, Óscar Casas as Castro, Lorenz Christian Köhler as Franz Ziereis, Adrián Lastra as Sordo, and Iván Marcos as Lucena.
The trailer shows Isabel looking for Otto Bachmann because he killed her father when she was a child. The Nazis managed to escape thanks to Odessa, a network that helped them escape via Spain or Italy and Bachmann is the man who heads the Spanish branch of this network.
Season 1 of Jaaguar, consisting of eight episodes, will be released on Netflix later this month, on September 22.
