Gillette promotes its Gillette ProGlide razor in a new commercial, which also celebrates the brand’s status as official sponsor of the NFL.
The spot features New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley and Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey and highlights that, if you look good, you feel feel good and if you feel good you play good. “And that’s how the greatest always get their game good,” the voiceover also mentions in the 30-second ad, which showcases the brand’s innovative ProGlide razor, featuring five blades and a pivoting flex ball to get virtually every hair on the first stroke.
The commercial, set to the tune of the 2009 song “I Look Good” by Central Texas Southern rapper and singer Chalie Boy, ends with the voiceover adding “Look good, game good” and with the tagline “The best a man can get” flashing across the screen.
The track is available for purchase on Amazon for $1.29.
Gillette has also enlisted Deion Sanders in the past to promote the Gillette ProGlide razor. The athlete stars in a commercial that reimagines his own NFL Draft night with a modern twist and sees him sharing some word of wisdom with the 2021 NFL Draftees after shaving with Gillette ProGlide razor.
In 2020, the 53-year old NFL legend interviewed rookies Cole Kmet, Ashtyn Davis, Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa about what “Every Day is Gameday” means to them and earlier this year he posted some social content for the Procter & Gamble brand.
